Yes. Since the Atal Tunnel stays open year-round, Gondhla is reachable through the winter — a big change from the old days when Lahaul was cut off by snow. We keep rooms warm with heaters and hot water for snow-season stays. In deep winter, carry chains or use a 4×4 for the approach.

We’re right on the Manali–Leh highway (NH-3) in Gondhla: roughly 20 km from the Atal Tunnel’s north portal, about 14 km from Sissu, and around 18 km from Keylong. Manali is about 55 km via the tunnel. All distances are approximate and depend on road conditions.

Yes — free, spacious on-site parking for both motorcycles and cars. We’re a popular halt for Ladakh bike trips and Manali–Leh road trips, so riders are very welcome.

Our kitchen serves authentic Himachali food — including our signature red rice, Siddu and Kachori — alongside Indian, Chinese and Continental dishes. Everything is cooked fresh, with local ingredients wherever possible, and breads come hot from the tandoor. Open daily, 7:00–22:00.

A traditional red-bran rice, a specialty grown in parts of Himachal Pradesh — nutty in flavour and rich in antioxidants. It’s the dish we’re named for, and we serve it warm with dal and desi ghee.

Standard check-in is from 12:00 noon and check-out by 11:00. Arriving late off a long drive, or want an early check-in? Just let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to help.

Yes, we offer free Wi-Fi. As with all of remote Lahaul, mobile signal can be patchy in the mountains — postpaid connections generally work best. It’s a good place to switch off for a night.
